On-chip coronavirus shape antenna for wide band applications in terahertz band

چکیده

In this paper, a novel compact planar coronavirus antenna is proposed for wide band applications. the design of antenna, idea radiating part has been taken from 3-D model coronavirus, which fed by 50 Ω coplanar waveguide. The patch structure and feed line have made gold, are located on polyamide substrate with thickness dielectric constant 45 µm 3.5, respectively, physical dimensions 300 × µm2. simulation results analyzed in terms S11, VSWR, radiation pattern, gain surface current distribution. designed covers frequency 0.3627 to 0.5918 THz S11 ≤ − 0 dB fractional bandwidth > 47.98% ratio 1.63:1. This extended coverage allows be suitable range applications including wireless communications, internet things, wearable devices, on-chip antennas multiple-input multiple-output systems. Also, far-field show an omnidirectional pattern average efficiency 4 dBi 93% throughout band, respectively.
